AERA Council has authorized matching funds to enhance the vitality of AERA Annual Meeting activities undertaken by its Special Interest Groups (SIGs) and Divisions. While the initiative is directed to Divisions and SIGs, AERA members with innovative ideas for Annual Meeting Division and SIG program activities are encouraged to share them with their Division vice president or SIG chair.
Up to $2,500 in matching funds will be provided to a Division or SIG that secures a matching (or greater) amount from an external agency, foundation, or organization for the purpose of program enhancement.
For the 2015 Annual Meeting, applications for matching funds must be submitted by Division vice presidents or SIG chairs no later than February 15, 2015. Information about proposal submission has been sent to Division vice presidents and SIG chairs. Click here for FAQs and submission information.
