The International Studies SIG is pleased to offer the following awards:
The Outstanding Study of the Year Award The SIG, on the occasion of its annual meeting, each year presents an AERA sanctioned award to the author(s) of an outstanding international study of education that was published in the previous year. This award is provided to acknowledge excellence in international studies of education and to encourage those engaged in such studies to participate in the missions of the SIG. The award will consist of a small stipend for travel to the annual meeting and recognition in AERA through the SIG.
The Award Committee selects the "Outstanding Study" from the nominations of the membership and taking into account the following considerations:
SIG members are encouraged to nominate studies for review by the Awards Committee no later than September 15th of the year preceding the award. Please send your nominations to the Awards Committee Chair: Dr. James Reed Campbell at [email protected].
