AERA SIG #54 “INTERNATIONAL STUDIES”

CRITERIA & SUBMISSION GUIDELINE FOR GRADUATE TRAVEL AWARD

STIPEND:  $500.

CRITERIA:

1. You must be a member of our SIG.
2. Your paper must be accepted in one of our SIG sessions and you must be present.
   1. All the required information should be submitted in one document and in either word or adobe pdf:
      1. Resume
      2. Financial Need: Documenting the price of travel.
      3. Your Paper

 PAPER SUBMISSION GUIDELINES (Using APA Style: 6th edition):

1. Abstract: 120 words
2. Descriptors: Provide three words that best describe your paper
3. Research Method: Conceptual/Theoretical, Mixed Method, Qualitative, or Quantitative
4. Narrative Paper: 1500 - 2000 words
5. Statement: Acknowledging “originality of submission.”
   1. E-mail one complete document to each member (see below) of the Awards Committee no later than December 15, 2014

NOTE:

• Incomplete submissions will not be considered for review.
• The Graduate Travel Awardee will receive the stipend and certificate at our International Studies Business Meeting and be expected to present in ten minutes their research.
