James D. Anderson Delivers Eleventh Annual AERA Brown Lecture to Record Audience
Before a record audience of over 700 on-site attendees at the Ronald Reagan Center in Washington, D.C., and more than 500 online viewers from around the world, James D. Anderson delivered the eleventh annual AERA Brown Lecture in Education Research. 
   
AERA Leadership Convenes for Fall Meeting
Over 100 of AERA’s leaders convened on October 24–25 in Washington, D.C., for the association’s 2014 Coordinated Committee Meeting, an annual opportunity for AERA committees to meet and address issues of significance to the field. 
   
AERA Member Appointed to National Assessment Governing Board
U.S. Education Secretary Arne Duncan announced five appointees to the National Assessment Governing Board, including Mitchell Chester, commissioner of the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education and a member of AERA.
